Prayer is the foundation of everything we do at Valley Fellowship Church.  It is one of our core values.  According to 1 Timothy 2:1 “I urge, then, first of all that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.  Various groups carry out this command praying for all levels of government, for Israel, for America, and other nations, especially for revival. One such group is Tuesday morning when faithful prayer is targeted toward the local body with intercession and warfare.  We expect miracles and the power of God to prevail.  Time is spent in worship, soaking in the Spirit, listening to the voice of Holy Spirit, and declaring what we hear from Heaven.  Prophetic  words are sometimes given with strategy for the situation.  Ephesians 6:17-18  guides our prayer as Paul wrote:  “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayer and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”   Crisis prayer requests are called in to our chairman and are then sent out by e-mail to many prayer partners. We cooperate with city prayer groups such as Pastors’ Prayer Summit, state groups and national groups.
